Research interests:

Electrospinning is one of the most efficient and economical techniques of producing polymeric nanofibers. Membranes made of the nanofibers have certain superior properties such as high specific surface area, low basis weight, and high porosity, as compared to those made of larger fibers. In her research, Junli investigates the use of electrospun nanofibers in applications, including using electrospun membranes as filters to achieve aerosol separation, and incorporating electrospun nanofibers into liquid body armors to improve liquid retention.
