Research interests:

Electrospinning is an effective and efficient process to produce polymer nanofibers, useful in a wide variety of applications. I am interested in producing nanofiber materials for the filtration of aerosols in respirator PPE applications. These membranes combine high filtration efficacy with enhanced breathability, and other desirable characteristics such as biodegradability, mechanical durability, and anti-viral functionality may be incorporated into their design.
